We are playing with fire when we skip the years of three, four, and five to hurry children into being age six.... Every child has a right to his fifth year of life, his fourth year, his third year. He has a right to live each year with joy and self-fulfillment. No one should ever claim the power to make a child mortgage his today for the sake of tomorrow.

Anabel, I have truly enjoyed reading and responding to your discussions and blogs over the past 8 weeks. You have given me insight into your diveres background which is important for those who work with children, their families, and the entire ECE community. I wish you the best as you continue on your educational journey!
ReplyDeleteAnnabel,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your innermost feelings about the relationships you have. I most connected with your relationship with your husband. As you mentioned in the post you all support each other in every aspect, and you listen to each other. That is the key ingredient to a happy loving, long lasting relationship. The things you mentioned resonated with me, as I identified with those same ideas in my marriage. I too married my best friend, and I am so thankful that we care for each other mutually. Again, thanks for sharing!
